Dr.  Fichtner loves learning and encouraging others to do the same. As a teacher, principal, district leader, and college instructor, she sees education as a gift that is unwrapped for a lifetime. In 2022, Amy began writing devotions as part of a team at her church. Now she publishes her own weekly newsletter and blog. Amy currently teaches graduate students as an adjunct instructor for Southern Nazarene University. She cherishes giving back to her church and community. Amy serves on the board of directors for Cookson Hills Children's Home and mentors young moms at First Church Owasso. When she’s not working or volunteering, you’ll likely find her enjoying time with family, putting her nose in a book, or her newest hobby - playing the guitar.
