They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
We are starting something new. We are calling it the Koinonia Challenge. Women are deeply valued and called to "koinonia" (koy·no·nee·uh), the Greek word for Christian fellowship. We as women are empowered by Jesus to build up the church, participate in mutual encouragement, and serve side-by-side with one another in the gospel mission. Every few weeks, we will post a new challenge.
We encourage you to accept, execute, and fully enjoy these challenges. We also encourage you to submit your Spirit inspired challenges for us to enjoy.
Our first challenge comes from Teri Riley who (for the last 30 years) serves along side her husband as a Missionary in Honduras.

conference! Right? I can't wait for next May! Jesus always has
something special for us each time
we get together! I just want to
encourage you to "get together" with
someone (maybe even someone
different each week) between now
and the next conference. Jesus always
has something special for us when we connect with another one of our sisters in Christ. So this week, I want to challenge you to call a lady in your community and invite her to your local coffee shop just to chat. Who knows what Jesus can do over coffee. Pray about who He would like you to invite.
